Aren’t they beautiful? I almost felt bad eating these golden lovelies. American Express, Christina Tosi (Momofuku Milk Bar’s famed pastry chef) and her long-time friend and supermodel Karlie Kloss teamed up to create a healthy cookie that’s just as delicious as it is nutritious and also benefits a great cause.

The Perfect 10 Kookies are made with healthy, all natural ingredients. They are dairy-free, gluten-free, and sweetened with agave. They are available for sale at Momofuku Milk Bar in Manhattan and 30 percent of the proceeds go to FEED, an organization that provides school meals to children around the world through the United National World School Feeding program. Each “perfect 10 kookie” sold provides 10 school meals to hungry children around the world. How cool is that?

There are 6 large cookies in each tin, and I have a feeling they won’t last long once they arrive in your kitchen. The cookies are chewy in texture, with a nice crunch from the slivered almonds. If you didn’t tell me, I would have no idea that they are dairy free and gluten free…they are just 100% GOOD! I’m currently mourning the fact that I only have one cookie left.

Yum! My favorite cookies are my Grandma’s signature chocolate chip recipe… the perfect blend of semi-sweet chips, mint chips, and coconut!

Julia – the recipe is on the post, actually! It is included in the long photo graphic at the bottom (below the pictures I took of the cookies) – it has photos of the process as well. Make sure you take a look so you can make them yourself! ;)

I love classic chocolate chip, but if i am feeling a little gutsy, i will add in other ingredients like bacon, nuts, or oats!

  5. Ashlie says

To me a sweet treat isn’t worthy of eating unless is contains chocolate, but I also love some salty with my sweet – so chocolate chip is the perfect cookie, throw in some oatmeal and pecans and I’m truly in heaven!

Only live a few blocks down from Milkbar and it’s dangerous because these cookies are so delicious! Thanks for sharing :)

We would love to try these. We visit Momofuku every time we’re in the city. Our favorite cookie is compost and our favorite pie is the crack pie (they don’t call it that for nothin’!).

I sprinkled package of starbucks via in my choc chip cookie dough last time, gave it a nice subtle coffee flavor.

  9. Nicole H. says

I have a weakness for dark chocolate and walnut cookies fresh out of the oven but I’d feel less guilty eating these!

  10. Natalie Herder says

I have loved being vegan and gluten free but I miss cookies! I would love to get a chance to try these!
