Wholly Guacamole and Salsa (plus a giveaway)!
Let’s talk guac.
Guacamole is probably one of my all time favorite dips/spreads to enjoy. There is just something so wonderful about creamy, delicious avocados. Am I right?
Now, I am typically the type to make my own guacamole from scratch, but there are times when cutting open an avocado and mashing it just won’t work. Enter: Wholly Guacamole. The folks at Wholly were kind enough to send me a cooler pack filled with their products for me to sample, and I have to say: I’m loving them for a number of reasons. First: let’s talk about their guacamole. It comes in a variety of flavors for you to choose from, from Spicy (my favorite), to Homestyle, to Organic.
And don’t forget about their 100% Avocado! It’s a new product for Wholly Guacamole, and I think it’s a great idea. The 100% avocado would be perfect to add to items that you don’t want the spices of guacamole added to. You could spread it on a sandwich, scoop some on top of eggs…yum!
Wholly Guacamole also has a line of Wholly Salsa in some really yummy varieties. The pineapple salsa is a fun twist: scoop a spoonful of the salsa on top of a piece of blackened fish or chicken breast. The sweet and spicy combination is really great!
And I’m really loving the Avocado Verde salsa: it’s like salsa verde and guacamole got together and had a beautiful baby. I love salsa verde on my eggs and on top of enchiladas – I know the salsa would be a great option for those dishes!
Last but not least: let me rave about the Wholly Guacamole snack packs. The snack packs are 100 calories a piece, and they are individually wrapped.
They are the perfect amount of guacamole if you are looking to simply top a dish with a dollop of guac. But what I REALLY love them for is snacking or lunch time. They’re great for lunch boxes: with all of the Wholly Guacamole products, you can freeze them. Simply freeze your 100 calorie packs, take one out in the morning and throw it in your lunch, and when it is time to eat, it will be fully thawed and ready to go! I didn’t even KNOW about the line of salsas they carry…they look delish! I am OBSESSED with guac and avocados in general so this would be an amazing prize to win! Fingers crossed!
