Valentine’s Day: Go Out or Stay In?
The day of hearts, candies, flowers, and love is almost upon us. Do you have plans for the day/evening with your significant other?
I have to say: it is always a toss up for me and Justin when it comes to Valentine’s Day plans. Going out to a restaurant for a nice dinner (so I don’t have to worry about cooking) is always an attractive option. However, we tend to find the restaurant scene to be absolutely packed on that evening. I’m not sure if that is exciting or if it stresses me out. However, going out to dinner is a great excuse to get dressed up, and who doesn’t like getting gussied up for a date night out? If I were heading out for Valentine’s Day this year, I think my outfit would need to look a little something like this:

But what about a cozy Valentine’s Day at home? I’ll be honest: that is probably going to be the option we go for in our house this year. So, how about a comfy night in lounge wear with a couple of board and card games? I think that sounds pretty fun to me (with some wine and chocolate fondue added in of course). Do you ever have game nights in your house? We love breaking them out every once in a while. Sorry is a classic…but one of our newer favorites is a card game called PlayNine. It’s golfing related, but you don’t need to like golf to enjoy it. I highly recommend picking up the game and trying it out – so fun!
