Colored denim galore for fall!
You can’t avoid it: colored denim is EVERYWHERE right now! I honestly don’t know if I’ve seen regular denim on the racks lately…the bright pops of color (and pattern) are constantly drawing my eye!
Of course, since there are so many different choices out there, it can be hard to determine which options are the best. Today, I’m rounding up a collection of colored and patterned denim from three affordable stores. I’ve personally tried all three versions of these jeans and can say I’m a fan! I’m still trying to make a decision as to which ones to add to my personal collection though: so…many…options!
First up: LOFT!

I really enjoy LOFT’s Color Pop Modern Skinny Jeans. They have a “modern fit” that sits a little lower on the waist, but definitely not low like a pair of Junior’s denim would! The material is not extremely thick, and it has stretch in it as well, which are both pluses for me – it makes them easier to move in! My personal favorite color is the Teal Night (center) – so pretty! But I also love the Royal Blue, Emerald Green, Racing Red, Golden Honey, and Beet. These jeans will run you $59.50 – they’re the higher end of the colored denim today, but LOFT’s quality is always nice (and there are constantly sales…so I’m sure you can snag them for less! They’re actually 30% off as of 10/11).
GAP has an assortment of colored 1969 ankle zip legging jeans:
As a shorter gal, I definitely gravitate to ankle length pants – I can usually avoid getting my jeans hemmed when I go the ankle length route! The zipper in these pants adds an extra touch of fun. These pants are currently on sale, and run from $33.99 to $50.99, depending on the hue you select.
And now, my personal favorite selection: Mossimo colored skinny denim from Target:
I really love the color selection for these pants – there are so many bold, jewel tone jeans in this lot. Again, I don’t know which hue is my favorite: the purple on the far left (i think) take the cake. Plus, they will only set you back $22.99 for a pair, which I think is fabulous. Who knows if colored denim will stick around for seasons to come, so depleting your bank account for something you might not wear next year doesn’t make sense. $22.99 gets you a trendy new pair of pants without breaking the bank!

Floral, animal print, marble, plaid, and camo – they’ve got it all! You could definitely think up some fun outfits with these printed jeans…

October 11, 2012 at 9:29 am (225 days ago)Before I went to Denver I was going crazy trying to pack and I ran out and bought a pair of red jeans. Love them, they will get a ton of use this season. I think I might also go for a royal blue color as well, still debating that or purple.

I have yet to get a pattern pair but I do really want some. I’m just not sure how much use they would get.
