Hi Ruffles & Truffles readers! I’m Melissa from 53blonde, and I’m so excited to be sponsoring Katie’s blog this month since I’ve been stalking following her blog for a long, long time. In fact, Katie is the reason I’ve been stalking TJ Maxx lately – she always has such great finds that I wanted to get in on the action!
Since Katie is always up on the latest fashion, I chose an outfit that I thought showed a trend I’d never thought I could pull off – the maxi dress. Let’s be honest: there’s a lot working against me with this dress. First of all, I’m pretty short at only 5’3″ so I never thought that a maxi would look good on me. Second, as much as I love stripes, horizontal stripes aren’t always flattering. But surprisingly enough, I actually love this entire outfit!
(And yes, I am actually running away in this photo – it is way too hot out in Indiana right now!)
