CoverGirl Blast Flipstick
There’s a new lip color product on the market, and I have to say I’m a fan. Lately, I’ve been shying away from lip glosses and other lip products that create goopy, sticky lips. I like a lip product that goes on smooth, provides a pretty punch of color, and has staying power. I’m happy to say I’ve been enjoying CoverGirl’s new Blast Flipstick over the past two weeks: I’m a fan!
The Blast Flipstick is a blendable lipstick duo: one color is a cream shade, and the other end contains a shimmer shade. You can wear one color or the other…or mix them together for a beautiful blend! Plus, there are 13 different options to pick from (well, 26 if you count both ends…)! I’ve been enjoying my Blast Flipstick in Vixen (820). The cream shade is a beautiful berry/mauve shade (which I think looks great on olive toned skin like mine):
Personally, I think it looks great by itself, but when you add the shimmer end of the Blast Flipstick, it is another beautiful combination! The shimmer color in the Vixen duo reminds me of a bubblegum pink. It adds a lightness and brightness to the cream end of the Flipstick, and also provides some shine.
I love that the CoverGirl Blast Flipstick is an affordable (and easy to obtain) lip product, and the versatility really brings it home for me. August 9, 2012 at 10:13 am (314 days ago)I’ve been wondering about this!! I was intrigued but the ads are horrrrrible……they actually made Sophia Vergara look ugly, which is pretty much impossible. Nice to know it’s a good product.
