Casual Day Sequins, featuring Karen Kane

Tank tops and shorts: they are what the doctor ordered during this summer heat.

Just because the pieces making up the outfit are few in number, you can still find ways to punch up your wardrobe in the warmer months.

It is essential for me to wear light colored pieces and breathable materials when the temperatures skyrocket. So – to keep things interesting, selecting a top with fun details added is a great way to pack a punch without adding extra bulk. I love the sequin detail on this tank top from Karen Kane – it adds a bit of sparkle and shimmer, but the thin fabric keeps me cool.

I also think this sequined tank top would look great dressed up – for work or a night out! Pair it with a pencil skirt and a cardigan or jacket for the office, or a slinky mini skirt for a night out dancing. There are definitely a lot of options!

    Really cute look…love the leopard skinny belt. Not much into shorts these days..the thighs are not in the best shape at 8 months preggo, lol. Maxi dresses and leggings are saving me! haha.

    Girl, I am living in tanks and shorts! Love the look with the leopard belt. I have two sequined tank tops and only wear them under things. For some reason the sequins scratch my arms every time I move. ;) Go figure.
    You look lovely in your pretty tank and shorts. ;)
